Peacocks, Tigers and Geese...Oh My!

We have been having fun. Below are from the last few weeks. I can't believe that Evan is almost 1 1/2 years old. He has really started talking a lot. Just last weekend he started saying all sorts of words. People may not believe us because he usually just says it in front of Chris or me, but he really does talk a lot. He says words like bye bye, truck, box, blocks, car, rabbit, please, cheese, yes, chest and outside. He is getting very good at saying please when he wants something. Now we just need to work on thank you.

Okay, so anyone from Colorado will know what I am talking about. When we bought Evan's new crib, we went to American Furniture Warehouse. They had all these stuffed animals all over the kids area. Well, Evan fell in love with the tigers. They look just like the ones on the commercial. He kept dragging it around by the tail. We had to give in and spoil him just a bit and bought him one. Now he has decided that he wants to carry it. As you can see, it is bigger than him. But he loves it.

We went to the zoo a few weekends ago with some of our close friends. Evan had a blast and got a new hat. Really, we forgot his hat at home and had to buy one because he has fair skin just like his mommy.

Joe thought it was fun to chase the peacocks.

We saw these goslings and Evan was taken by them. As we have mentioned before, he loves ducks. Well, these just looked like little fuzzy ducks to him.

The Team (Angie, Evan, Shannon, Joe, Kelly) minus the resident photographer, Chris and Megan who was busy getting ready to run the Bolder Boulder. We were so proud of Meg for doing that.

Everyone decided to spend the night, so here is Uncle Joe reading a book to Evan before bedtime.

I think he's pretty fond of Uncle Joe.

Any time Evan goes outside he likes to try and play with our big rake. So we decided to get him an Evan sized rake. He rakes everything he can. He rakes inside and out.
