Wine anyone?

On our last day in Santa Rosa we visited a winery. They had this beautiful garden that we took a tour of. Chris loves sunflowers and he got a wonderful picture of some.

The grapes of Angie's favorite wine, gewurztraminer. They tasted just like the wine. Mmmm, they were so good.
This bird was on top of the fountain, he almost doesn't look real, but he is.
As you can see, it was a hot day and Evan got quite sweaty. His hair was not the same the rest of the day.
Resting again after a long day of traveling back to San Francisco.

Swimming time

This was Evan's first time "swimming". The water was perfect, not too cold. He liked it, he didn't cry at all till we got Mr. Turtle. He wasn't a fan of the turtle floaty we got for him. He preferred to be held. But as you can see, the longer we were in the pool, the more he enjoyed it.

I think they like each other.

The wedding was beautiful. Below is Payal, me and Evan.

Before the ceremony is the "Groom's welcome". Brian, the groom, got on a horse and we all followed him around the parking lot with many people dancing.

There was also a drummer at the welcome. Believe it or not, but Evan fell asleep during the welcome. He was in his stroller, and I think the rythm of the drumming made him sleepy.

As the bride comes down the aisle, the groom is covered with a sheet so he won't see her until she is in front of him.

The happy couple being announced.

This was Evan after a long day of traveling. We flew out to California for Angie's friend Payal's wedding. We flew into San Francisco on Aug. 31, then drove to Santa Rosa where the wedding would be the next day. Well, half way between the two we got a flat tire. Evan was hungry and we were on the side of the highway. There wasn't much we could do. Luckily a highway safety patrol was right behind us. So while he put on our spare tire, I sat in the car and fed Evan. We didn't get to our hotel until about 8 or 9 that night. It was a long day and Evan was just happy to be able to play unrestricted.
