Oops

Okay, so we promised some video. Well, we are having some computer hardware problems, so the videos will take longer to post than we thought. As soon as we get the computer fixed we hope to get the videos up quick. Sorry. :(

Christmas time

You will have to forgive me for not posting anything in 2 months. Having a 1 year old can keep us quite busy and sometimes life just gets in the way. Below are pictures from Christmas all the way back to Thanksgiving. Also, you won't see any pictures from Christmas with the Cheline's or Parker's, as we have video from those visits. Please know we are in the process of getting them on our computer and hope to have them up in a couple days. This past year has been just amazing. We have been so blessed with family friends and a wonderful son. He is so much more than we could have ever imagined. Please enjoy the pictures and we'll try to keep the posts coming more often than every few months.

That little Santa thing played many, many Christmas songs on bells and Evan just loved it. He would walk over and nod until someone turned it on, then he'd just sit and watch.

The little fish makes noise like bubbles and he wasn't sure about it at first, but he likes it now.

Grandma and Grandpa Fitzpatrick also have this little toy with penguins that climb the stairs then slide down. Evan loved watching it then he'd grab a penguin off the stairs and put it down the slide.

He was very proud of himself.

He has just been fascinated by Christmas trees this year.

We went to visit Great-Grandma a few days before Christmas and got to play with a jingle bell while we were there.

Evan's BIG day. He's 1!!!

First of all I just want to thank everyone that was able to make it to celebrate with us for Evan's first birthday. We are so blessed to have so many friends and family. Evan is very lucky to have such a large circle of caring people.

The store gave Evan his very own cake to eat and make a mess of.

Okay, so I did the pictures backwards from the bottom up. But as you can see Evan didn't make very much of a mess with his cake. He wouldn't even eat the cake until I gave him a few bites of frosting. And he had to be encouraged to make a mess. Over all it was much cleaner than we were expecting.

I don't think he likes to be messy.

Getting ready for Christmas and friends.

Sometimes you just need to walk around with no clothes on. Evan chooses to admire the Christmas tree this way.

We went to visit Santa, but the line was soooo long, it took over two hours before we got to see the big guy. So to pass the time Evan helped Mommy push his stroller around.

There was also this reindeer against the wall along the line that Evan just loved. He liked the reindeer much better than Santa.

These were the only two pictures we could get without him crying He was not happy to see Santa.

I just love his Santa outfit. So did he.

At Auntie Payal's birthday.

Chris's good friend Brian and his girlfriend Sofia came from Sweden to visit his family and even made some time for us.

Thanksgiving

We were so blessed to have a wonderful Thanksgiving. We went to the Cheline's on Thanksgiving day and the day before Thanksgiving we went to Meridian where Angie's grandma lives and had Thanksgiving dinner with her and the Fitzpatricks.

Evan had lot's of fun with Grandpa Mark. He even gave him some cuddle time.

Believe it or not, it only took two tries to get a good family picture.

This picture is quite funny to me. Evan has decided that he enjoys reading while he gets his diaper changed. I guess he's practicing for when he's older. :)

The pictures below are from dinner at Meridian.
Evan loves his Great-Grandma Dorra.

Evan even had turkey and sweet potatoes for Thanksgiving. They were just in the pureed form.

Angie and Evan go to visit Great-Grandma every week, and he has discovered that he can push her walker. So any chance he gets to push it he does, even on Thanksgiving.

Four generations.

I just love this picture. He was fascinated by the lights on the Christmas tree. He is curious about everything.
