Mother's Day

I had a wonderful Mother's Day. Evan even slept in a little bit for me and I was surprised with a beautiful necklace from my two favorite guys. We then went to visit all the other moms in our life. Evan was able to wish all his grandmas a Happy Mother's Day and had loads of fun with each one.

Aren't they handsome? They posed just for me. Well sort of. I think Evan was looking at one of the cats.

We really do feed him, honest.

So we went to Subway a couple weeks ago, and Evan did a great job eating his sandwich, apples and milk. Chris and I were still eating, but Evan was just playing. Then we look over and he is chewing on his mat. He just kept picking it up and tugging on it with his teeth. I don't really think that plastic mats are in a healthy diet, but his teeth sure did. :)

Yes, we are still alive and well....

Wow has it been a long time since we've updated. So sorry about that. Between trying to keep up with a 1 year old and all of us getting sick at different times, I haven't quite had the time to update. Well we are all healthy now so get ready to be blessed with five months worth of love. We have included a little bit of everything from blueberries to ducks.

This was Evan's first time on a trampoline. He had loads of fun. He would crawl all over it trying to get away from Daddy.
I think we finally wore him out.

I don't think we've mentioned it, but Evan LOVES ducks. There are two ducks on display at Great Grandma Dorra's that Evan always has to play with. He plays with them then says "quack quack".

In April the two friends that Angie has had the longest came to visit. Angie, Amy and Hun have known each other since middle school (6th grade). Unfortunately Evan fell asleep before we took pictures. It was wonderful getting to catch up with these beautiful ladies.

Evan loves Grandma Sharon.
We wondered where all the milk was going. Now I guess we know.

Chris and I got all dressed up in March for an awards ceremony. Chris won 1st place for Best Photo Essay of the Year at the Colorado Broadcasters Association! We are very proud of him.

Easter. We had a wonderful Easter and Evan loved playing with the plastic eggs.

Now you may notice a sizeable bump on Evan's head. He took his first really big bump about a week before Easter. He was just walking then tripped and hit his head just right that it swelled up. Mommy was a mess, but he was okay. He cried, but we didn't have to take him to the doctor. It just left a big bump and bruise and stayed around for quite a while.

February 10! Evan would prefer to not remember this day perhaps. This was his first haircut. You can see it started out okay, then went downhill.

He was much happier after it was all done and looked quite handsome. He has had another haircut since then, and did much better the second time. "Thank you Grandma Sharon for making me look so good."

We got Evan a new crib, because the old one was breaking. He was helping Chris disassemble the old one, then enjoyed some story time with Daddy in his "new" room.

Back in February our friend Emily and her little boy Noah came to visit. This is the most recent picture of our little Bible study group +2.

Blueberries! Evan loves blueberries. Maybe that's where he gets the blue eyes from. :)

Sometimes you're just too tired to eat.
